My antivirus software gave me a warning about Picture Keeper

We are aware that there may be an issue with using the Picture Keeper on a computer that is running the AVG Antivirus program. You may see an alert notifying you that AVG has identified Picture Keeper as a threat or a virus. There is definitely no threat to your computer, but some older versions of AVG may return a false-positive.  Our program was included in AVG’s last update.

Updating your AVG to its latest version will allow the Picture Keeper to run. If AVG has already removed the program, please contact us.  We will be more than happy to assist you.

We are constantly working with antivirus companies such as Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, and AVG to avoid issues such as this.

If you need any additional assistance, please contact Picture Keeper Support.
