How do I copy files from a Picture Keeper to another hard drive?

Copying your files from a Picture Keeper to an external hard drive isn’t difficult. First, select the appropriate steps for your computer’s operating system below.

I have Windows

  1. Plug the Picture Keeper into your computer.
  2. Display the files as shown in the screenshot below, but do not start the program.
  3. Double click to open the Backups folder. The Backups folder contains all the pictures. You can just copy it or follow the next steps.
  4. Double click to open the name of your computer.
  5. Double click to open Drive C or D.
  6. Double click to open User.
  7. Double click to open Username.
  8. You may need to open a couple more folders.
  9. Double click to open the folders with your pictures.
  10. From here you can copy your picture folders to another disk or computer.

I have OS X / MacOS

  1. Plug the Picture Keeper into your computer.
  2. Open Finder window
  3. Open the Backups Folder. This Backups folder can be copied to the external drive or follow the next steps.
  4. Open the folder that is the name of your Mac.
  5. Open Photos/iPhoto or Users depending where you store the Pictures on your Mac.
  6. You should see all the folders.
  7. From here you can copy your picture folders to another disk or computer.
