How do I restore or transfer photos to my computer? (Windows)

There are 2 ways to restore or copy your pictures to your computer, or a new/different computer.

Restore/Copy All

To copy all Picture Keeper photos to a new computer:

  1. Plug in the Picture Keeper.
  2. Start the Picture Keeper program as directed in the instruction booklet.
  3. Click the Restore Backups button.

Restore/Copy specific files or folders

To copy only specific pictures/folders from the Picture Keeper to the new computer:

  1. Plug in the Picture Keeper.
  2. Display the files as shown but do not start the program.
  3. Double click to open the Backups folder.
  4. Double click to open the name of your computer.
  5. Double click to open Drive C.
  6. Double click to open User.
  7. Double click to open your name.
  8. You may need to open a couple more folders, depending on how your photos were originally organized on your computer.
  9. Double click to open Pictures.
  10. From here you can open your picture folders and copy pictures to another disk or computer.
